Nainital, Ranikhet and Bhimtal Tour Itinerary

Day 1

Drive from Delhi/Kathgodam to Nainital, the Lake District (7 hours/2 hours).

Check into your hotel and immediately proceed for a boat ride on the crescent-shaped Naini Lake, the heart of the town. Later, visit the holy Naina Devi Temple situated on the northern shore. Spend the evening strolling and shopping on the vibrant Mall Road, enjoying the cool lakeside breeze.

Day 2

Nainital

Full day for local Nainital sightseeing. Take a cable car ride to Snow View Point for breathtaking views of Nanda Devi, Trishul, and other Himalayan peaks. Later, trek or take a pony to Tiffin Top (Dorothy's Seat) for a picnic and panoramic valley views. Explore the nearby Cave Garden and spend the late afternoon enjoying the unique charm of this hill station.

Day 3

Bhimtal

Lake Tour Excursion. Drive to explore the surrounding 'tals' (lakes): Bhimtal, Naukuchiatal, and Sattal. Bhimtal is the largest, featuring an island aquarium. Naukuchiatal, the nine-cornered lake, offers quieter activities like paragliding and kayaking. Enjoy the tranquil nature of these less crowded lakes before returning to Nainital for the night.

Day 4

Drive from Nainital to Jim Corbett National Park (3 hours).

Check into your jungle resort near the reserve. Spend the afternoon visiting the Corbett Museum in Kaladhungi, once the home of the famed hunter-naturalist Jim Corbett. Enjoy a nature walk outside the core zone in the evening, listening to the sounds of the jungle and preparing for the upcoming safari adventure.

Day 5

Corbett National Park

Early morning Jungle Safari in the Bijrani or Jhirna zones of Corbett National Park. Search for the majestic Bengal Tiger, elephants, leopards, and various deer species in their natural habitat. The dense Sal forests and riverine grasslands provide a thrilling experience. After the safari, relax at the resort and enjoy the peaceful jungle environment, reflecting on the wildlife sightings.

Day 6

Drive from Jim Corbett to Ranikhet (4 hours).

Ranikhet is known for its lush green golf course and commanding mountain views. Visit the beautiful Chaubatia Gardens, famous for its apple, apricot, and peach orchards. Also, pay respects at the unique Hairakhan Temple. The evening is spent in the tranquil hill station, enjoying the clean air and pine-scented breeze.

Day 7

Drive from Ranikhet back to Kathgodam/Delhi (2.5 hours/7 hours).

Enjoy a final Kumaoni breakfast. Depending on your departure time, you may visit the famous Kainchi Dham, a temple ashram established by Neem Karoli Baba, known globally. The journey concludes upon drop-off at your chosen station or airport.
